Terms of Service
Last updated: September 10, 2026
Acceptance of these terms
By creating a Subdek account or using the app, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Subdek.
What Subdek is
Subdek is a free tool that helps you track recurring subscriptions — add them manually, or paste a bank/payment SMS to detect one automatically — and sends you reminders before a renewal charge. Subdek does not process payments, does not charge you anything, and is not affiliated with the merchants or services whose subscriptions you track.
Your account
You sign in with your Google account. You're responsible for keeping access to that Google account secure — anyone who can sign into it can sign into Subdek as you. You must be able to form a legally binding agreement to use Subdek (in most places, this means being at least 18, or the age of majority where you live).
Acceptable use
- Don't use Subdek for anything illegal, or in a way that violates another person's rights.
- Don't try to access another user's account or data.
- Don't scrape, reverse-engineer, or abuse the service (e.g. automated bulk account creation, attempting to overload our systems).
- Don't misrepresent your identity or impersonate someone else when using the app.
Reminders are informational, not a guarantee
Subdek's renewal reminders are meant to help you avoid surprise charges, but they're informational only — not a guarantee. A reminder can fail to arrive for reasons outside our control (a notification permission turned off, a network issue, a merchant changing their billing date without notice, detection missing a subscription entirely). Always confirm important billing dates directly with the merchant or your bank/card provider — don't rely on Subdek as your only safeguard against an unwanted charge.
Third-party services
Subdek relies on third-party services to work — Google (sign-in, and Gmail access if you choose to connect it), Firebase (push notifications), and an email provider (renewal-reminder emails). Your use of those services is also subject to their own terms. We're not responsible for outages or changes on their end that affect Subdek.
Your data and privacy
How we collect, use, and protect your data is described in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms. You can delete your account and data at any time from Settings.
Termination
You can stop using Subdek and delete your account at any time from Settings — this is immediate, not scheduled. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms, or that we reasonably believe is being used to abuse or harm the service or other users.
"As is", no warranty
Subdek is provided free of charge, "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that subscription detection will be accurate or complete. You use Subdek at your own discretion.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Subdek and its operator aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app — including a missed reminder, an inaccurate detection, or a charge you weren't expecting. Subdek is a free, informational tool, not a financial or billing-management service, and doesn't replace your own bank/card statements as the source of truth for what you're actually being charged.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product changes. We'll update the "Last updated" date below when that happens, and will make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
